The Role

Podean Mexico is looking for a content strategy manager for e-commerce that oversees content for all marketplaces with a deep focus on Amazon & Mercado Libre.

The content manager will be responsible for designing the strategy of different vendors into Amazon & Mercado Libre. You will work with our clients and global teams to develop a comprehensive content strategy while ensuring brand consistency and will own all stages of the content journey and provide recommendations and insights based on emerging trends and competitive analysis. You will be fluent in English and Spanish, as this role is also responsible for creating, translating and optimizing copies, including titles, bullet points and product descriptions for product detail pages and Brand stores.

You will partner with the Podean design team to create enhanced content including: A+ content, brand stores, posts and other imagery; design capabilities are desirable but not required, but you will be capable of creating the content structure for brandstores and A+ content at the wireframe level. You will also conduct competitive analysis and keyword research to determine and maintain best practices for improving organic rank in Amazon SEO. You will need to be willing to continually learn Amazon’s ever-changing guidelines and evolving content offerings.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
  • Proven in your ability to write powerful copy for products and brands
  • Content creation project comprising of textual, imagery and video
  • Using keywords to optimize content for organic ranking
  • Briefing and coordination of designers and other specialists and partners to deliver on their specific tasks
  • Proven team player having built strong relationships with global teams, clients and partners
  • Working understanding of paid media offerings from Facebook, Google and Youtube
  • Familiarity of the dynamic marketing or advertising environment
  • Knowledge of reporting tools like Google Analytics
